Winter Field Day is nearly upon us!
ACARA will be participating in Winter Field Day on Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28 at the Jim Crouse Memorial Radio Station at the Red Cross of Southeastern Ohio in Athens. The club will operate the full 24-hour period of the event, in the single transmitter class and the category “Indoors”, using SSB, CW, and digital modes.
Set-up will begin at 12:30pm on Saturday and the event starts at 2pm on Saturday.
We need operators! Anyone can operate, regardless of license class. We will be operating under the club’s callsign, W8UKE, and mentors will be on-site to help inexperienced operators. An operator/logger sign-up sheet is available at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040B49ABAB2AAAFC1-47352344-acara.
